The Significance Of Lord Krishna’s Dark-complexion
Lord Krishna is dark-complexioned but he is often pictured in Blue. The Sadhguru explains the significance of Lord Krishna's dark complexion:
"Maybe he was dark-skinned, but people who were aware saw the blueness of his energy, so they described him as blue".

Lord Krishna is dark-complexioned but his outer presence does not define his characteristics. Due to his inner characteristics, his auro becomes blue and thus makes everyone attracted to him. He is blissful, ever-blossom, adorable, and loving to all. His many names are kept because of his qualities. Take for example - ‘Manohar’ one of the beautiful names of Lord Krishna which means ‘enchanting’ or ‘Manmohana’ which means ‘the winner of the heart’.
